BE WARNED
Miss Aman Sweet Bhullar, M.Sc. (1st Year) Student
Panjab University, Dept. of Biophysics, Chandigarh, India.
Is a pathological liar, deceitful, nakam haram, untrust worthy, unprofessional, drug addict, alcoholic, a ring leader of university students (1st year Dept. of Biophysics) thugs, a trator, 'Cruel and calculated thug and being a Sikh she smokes, a disgrace to her Sikh parents (look in the picture a cigarette in her left hand finger and a drink in her right hand).

Her Statement of Purpose (SOP) is plagiarized. She has no publications with Professor (Dr.) Ranu (all her publications are withdrawn). She has never made any presentation to the class as claimed in SOP. My recommendation for her is also withdrawn.

I recommend to all Universities Admission Directors that she never be considered for admission in Master’s or Ph.D. programme. Also she should not be given any financial assistance at any level. I further recommend to all Embassies that she should not be given any visa or even a student visa to study abroad. People like her should never be allowed to advance up the ladder, as she is extremely dangerous to the society, academic and research environment both in India and in other countries abroad.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
(Aman Sweet Bhullar, BSc (Hons.))
Change does not necessarily assure progress, but progress implacably requires change. Education is essential to change, for education creates both new wants and the ability to satisfy them'.
Since my childhood I have been a keen observer and well known for probing new avenues, always enthusiastic and ready with a chain of questions. Having been brought up in a strong and secure family, I have been blessed to have parents who instilled me with good values and principles. Education was always given first priority and there was no compromise for it. My parent's support motivated me to reach my goals.
My father bought me a computer when I was in sixth grade. My interest and quest to know the vast field of computers encouraged me to learn the anatomy of its parts and there coordination as a whole. Moreover, I also started learning programming languages like C, C++. On the other hand, in subject matter, I was always fascinated by the science of life, `Biology'. Though unlike physics, Biology does not usually describe systems in terms of objects, which obey immutable physical laws described by mathematics. Nevertheless, Biological Science is characterized and unified by several major underlying principles and concepts. At the school level though exposed to only major concepts of biology, the terms like cell, genes, DNA, protein intrigued me a lot. In the seventh grade, we had some portions of statistics in our curriculum like bar graphs, frequency distribution table etc. that developed my understanding as well as liking for the subject.
I have always been academically well inclined and focussed. The relentless hardwork coupled with self-confidence rewarded me with a distinction of 93% in my Higher Secondary Examinations. My grades opened the doors for my passion towards Biological Science and I chose Biophysics as my subject for graduation. The decision gave me ample opportunity to consolidate my creative energies and harness my technical aptitude. It paved way to delve deeper into my own curiosity and discover the world of Biological Science. In these years of under graduation study, I have strived to maintain an approach of expending independent efforts in all my endeavours. Self-Learning and sharing my knowledge with others has been most valuable.
During my period of undergraduate study, I excelled in courses like Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology, Biomaterial, Biostatistics etc. This provided a firm foundation and took me a step closer towards fulfilling my goal of pursuing higher studies. The fascinations and promises held out by various areas in Biochemistry, Genetic Engineering and Molecular Biology captivated me. I scored 95% marks in the subject, `Biostatistics' and 98% in, `Molecular Biophysics' due to my apt understanding of the subject. I remain indebted to my professors who have fostered in me a flair and flamboyance for higher education and an achievement of 80.03% aggregate in my under graduation.
During my college, I got the opportunity to correlate theory to practical phenomena. This consecutively gave me a better understanding of the subject and newer lines of assessment in many fields of study like Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biostatistics and Biomaterials. Capitalising on my potential to adapt the theoretical nuances of the subjects, I derived a command on various laboratory techniques as well.
I have given presentations in all these subjects and have also been an active student participating in all the department activities and functions. I discovered an explicit capacity in my orator ship while holding presentations based on Prof. (Dr.) H.S. Ranu's research papers on the topics `Multipoint determination of pressure- volume curves in human intervertebral discs' and `Normal and pathological human gait analysis using triaxial shoe-borne load cells.'. In these presentations, I explained to the audience in a simplified way how physical, mathematical, statistical and analytical principles have been employed to solve biological problems. With a deep understanding of the subject matter, I projected my extreme interest, persistent attitude and intellectual curiosity at all levels. This is a total lie she never made any presentation of any kind. These are the teachings of her university Professors.
I have always believed that knowing is not enough, one must apply. Theoretical knowledge is important but a practical training gives that innate confidence to your theories. From the very beginning of my under graduation study, I have enriched myself with a willingness to attain practical work experience and this also paved way to my area of interest. It helped me to transmit the knowledge gained so far in my Biological Science and accomplish some practical exposure. My technical and analytical abilities were at test during my tryst with Professor M.L.Garg, Head of Department, Department of Biophysics during a summer training workshop in the Biomedical Instrumentation Laboratory. Under his expert guidance I learnt about the Principles and Instrumentation involved in recording an electrocardiogram (ECG) and also to interpret the results in normal as well as diseased conditions like Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrhythmias like ventricular and atrial fibrillation.
"A leader is one who seeks best for those he serves". Besides academics, I have been actively involved in extra curricular activities. In the capacity of an active member of the `Biophysics Society', I was appreciated for my leadership and organising skills by the committee members of the society in various cultural events for the department. I was adjudged, `Miss Fresher 2006' in an inter college contest held during my under graduation study.
Higher education in University would mean an extension of my quest to know the vast field of Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics and Molecular enabling me to contribute to the technological avalanche. University offers the programs in my domain of interest. The application driven research and development carried out in the labs coheres to my liking. With its high standard, state of the art facilities and an esteemed faculty, abreast with the latest teaching methodology, would help me learn in an innovative and progressive environment. I am sure that a MS-PhD in your university will definitely widen the horizons of my knowledge and help me attain a milestone in my career.
I strongly believe that education is the medium that strengthens mind and character of an individual, expands the intellectual parameter and helps him evolve in his life. A stern believer of attitude, quality, and hard work, I promise to attain meteoric heights and bring glory to your institution.
